DXV by American Standard Showroom

VOA’s window design highlights the luxury brand’s Percy Collection

This month, those strolling through Chelsea can get peek at the New York office’s design handiwork. VOA New York was invited to participate in a monthly window design featuring DXV, the new American Standard luxury brand of kitchen and bath products at its 15th West 20th Street showroom in Manhattan. The team, comprised of hospitality and residential designers, employed the strengths of key team members to design a window that would showcase VOA’s design aesthetic.

Our window design uses pieces from the DXV Percy Collection to create a storefront that is graphic, modern and edgy – a visually alluring vignette that appeals to the casual passerby and the seasoned design aficionado alike.

The team took inspiration from the central element of water coursing through a network of copper pipes to tell a “modern and dynamic story focused on the luxury of daily rituals.” In striking contrast, the two windows express VOA New York’s vision of the DXV brand and the contemporary Percy product line through the lens of VOA New York’s attitude and style.

Various VOA team members applied their specialties and strengths to the project—VOA architects, for example, designed the structure and support portion of the display—and developed the pieces together afterhours and on weekends.

The display can be seen at the DXV by American Standard Showroom 15 West 20th St, between 5th and 6th Avenues through the month of August. September’s window design will feature Arquitectonica.
