Step into the new hospital (virtually) before the 2016 opening.

Over a century old Florida Hospital maintains a network of 24 hospitals in Florida today and prides itself on providing care for the whole person. Opening in January, 2016, Florida Hospital for Women in Orlando is charged with providing advanced healing and healthcare programs for women including obstetrics and specialty care all under one roof.

The 12-story, 149,000 sf Florida Hospital for Women will feature 332 beds including 72 post-partum beds,  an 88-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), 72 post surgery beds for gynecology & oncology and 100+ beds for future growth, as well as 14 labor and delivery suites and 13 operating rooms with robotic capabilities.

The design is intended to infuse this modern healthcare facility with environments that promote healing. The redesign intends to empower and comfort hospital patrons. Nature is an inspiration throughout. Natural light flow is maximized in the atrium, lobby, patient corridors and recovery rooms, while artwork selections uplift and support the hospital visitor.
