Hotel Architecture Summit Milan 2015

Mark Pratt to present “Finding the Right Client”

This April 11 through 13, the Hotel Architecture Summit Milan 2015 will convene an international group of architects, engineers, hotel planners, consultants, and builders for a dynamic conference on the design and construction of hotels. In “Finding the Right Client,” my April 11 presentation, I will draw on 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry to explore best practices for business development. I will share lessons learned and examples of how industry leaders leverage their skills and experience to build a cohesive design portfolio, define an area of specialty, and identify and understand their clientele.

I will be joined by Marcelo Joulia of NAÇO Architectures (Paris, France); Robert Moore, Senior Vice President of Design and Technical Services World Wide at Accor (Paris, France); Lino Cezza, a craftsman and owner of Alba Bath (Merida, Mexico and São Paulo, Brazil); Didac Valls, Director of Figueras International Seating (Cataluna, Spain); and Paulo Mancio, Senior Vice President at Accor Americas (São Paulo, Brazil).

The three-day conference is organized by the Roberto Miranda Graduate School for Corporate Education and hosted at the Armani Hotel in Milan, Italy. It precedes the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, the world’s largest trade fair showcasing furniture, lighting, and other designed objects.

“Finding the Right Client” takes place April 11 at the Armani Hotel & Resort, Milan, Italy.
