Curbed National interviews Marcos Bastos about VOA’s Hotel Nacional renovation project

I recently spoke with Curbed editor Patrick Sisson about the renovation for the Oscar Niemeyer-designed Hotel Nacional in Rio De Janeiro. In the piece, I share my enthusiasm for restoring this landmark and that we are using original Niemeyer sketches for reference and consulting with Bruno Contarini, the project’s original structural engineer and a long-time Niemeyer collaborator.
