Rebel Roberts Elevated to AIA College of Fellows

The 2016 Jury of Fellows from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) has officially elevated VOA President and COO Percy “Rebel” Roberts III, FAIA, RIBA, NCARB, FACHA to its prestigious College of Fellows. Out of a total AIA membership of over 85,000, only 3,200 members have been distinguished with this honor.

The Fellowship program was developed to elevate those architects who have made a significant contribution to architecture and society and who have achieved a standard of excellence in the profession. Election to fellowship not only recognizes the achievements of architects as individuals, but also their significant contribution to architecture and society on a national level.

Congratulations to Rebel on receiving this honor. He has been recognized based on design excellence and his significant contributions to the advancement of the profession. The 2016 Fellows will be honored at an investiture ceremony at the AIA Convention 2016 in Philadelphia in May.

LSU College of Art and Design included Rebel in its announcement, “LSU Architecture Alumni Named Fellows of the American Institute of Architects.”
