Ribbon cut on Hilton Cleveland Downtown

VOA served as the architect of record for this design-build project

Last week, members of the VOA, Now Stantec design team attended the formal ribbon cutting ceremony and media event for the Hilton Cleveland Downtown.  VOA, Now Stantec served as the architect of record for this design-build project in collaboration with Turner Construction. Cooper Carry from Atlanta served as the criteria design architect and Anderson Miller from Detroit as the criteria interior designer.

The 600,000 GSF Hilton Cleveland Downtown features 600 guestrooms, 50,000 SF total banquet and meeting space and connects to the existing Cleveland Convention Center. The hotel puts Cleveland back on the map as a convention destination. It is on track to achieve LEED Silver certification. With a construction cost of $230,000,000, the Hilton Cleveland Downtown will come in under budget and open in time for the July 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland.
