1620 L Street

In an effort to attract tenants and compete in the Washington DC office market, this 12-story downtown office building was repositioned from a Class B level building to Class A. The project involved the redevelopment of the 1980's era building's main entrance and facade, lobby, and elevator lobby, as well as the addition of amenities including a conference center and fitness center with locker rooms and shower facilities.

The developer who purchased 1620 L Street saw a hidden gem in the building's prime downtown location and potential for improvement. Prior to renovations, the building's facade was outdated and the interior lobby was dark and uninspired. By giving it a new, clean, glass, light wood and marble aesthetic the building's streetfront presence and curb appeal has been drastically altered for the better.
