North Park University - Johnson Center

The Johnson Center was developed primarily to raise the number of academic offerings and the quality of the University's science-related education programs, but due to its central location on campus also offered the opportunity to incorporate the "Center for Student Engagement" which provides student support and a social setting for bringing students and faculty together. The building includes biology, chemistry, physics, psychology and general science laboratories, general-access classrooms and lecture halls, and small seminar rooms. The community spaces are supported by a café centrally located on the entry level. Lounges are dispersed throughout the building to encourage student and faculty interaction.

The Johnson Center significantly elevates the quality of math and science education at North Park within a building designed to foster interaction among the faculty and the entire student body.
