Parris Island Child Development Center

The new child development center was designed to blend seamlessly with Parris Island’s vernacular reflecting the historic buildings constructed during World War I. The center provides care for the children of the 2,500 Marines and sailors permanently stationed on base. The Net Zero, LEED Gold project was designed with a host of innovative sustainability features including the ability to produce its own energy.
